Biography

Dr. Saida Safaeva holds PhD in Political Science and has over 19 years of professional experience working with international organizations and development partners. Her expertise spans international cooperation, sustainable development, humanitarian affairs, education, and institutional capacity building. Throughout her career, she has worked with and contributed to the initiatives of leading international organizations, including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in programme and project coordination, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and facilitating cooperation between government institutions, international organizations, and development partners. Her work has focused on promoting inclusive dialogue, strengthening institutional capacities, and supporting initiatives that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Saida Safaeva is also an author of academic publications on regional politics and integration processes in Central Asia. In 2009, she earned her PhD in Political Science with research dedicated to political transformation and regional dynamics in the post-Soviet space of Central Asia.
Combining academic expertise with nearly two decades of practical experience, she is committed to advancing sustainable and inclusive solutions that foster long-term development and strengthen international partnerships in Uzbekistan and beyond.
