A roundtable discussion on US-Central Asian relations was held

On December 14, this year a roundtable with representatives of the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA) at the US National Defense University was held at the Institute for Advanced International Studies at UWED on the topic "Contemporary relations between the US and Central Asia: priorities, challenges and the impact of the global geopolitical situation". The event was attended by American experts of the Center, researchers of the Institute for Advanced International Studies at UWED, as well as students and PhD students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The participants of the round table discussed the current state and further development of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the United States. Particular attention was paid to the development in the economic sector, and the prospects of cooperation with Uzbekistan, which is located in the core of Central Asia and is an important actor in negotiations with Afghanistan. Following the results of the roundtable, detailed answers were received to all the questions of the audience.
