On April 5 of this year, the Methodological Council of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, chaired by Rector S.Safoev, organized a seminar on the topic “Development of the situation in Afghanistan: internal political governance, regional dynamics and its consequences”.
The seminar was attended by the Deputy Director of the Institute for Advanced International Studies, Akram Umarov, the Director of the Diplomatic Academy, Abdusamat Khaydarov, and the visiting professor at Justus Liebig University, Iskandar Abdullayev.
Professor A.Khaydarov's speech primarily focused on the fundamental principles of the Taliban movement, while A.Umarov addressed the current situation in Afghanistan. Professor I.Abdullayev, in turn, provided detailed information about major projects in Afghanistan, notably the Kosh Tepa canal project.
The seminar concluded with a discussion segment, characterized by insightful questions and answers.
