Today IAIS hosted another session of its #FrontierTalks series, featuring Senior Research Fellow Nargiza Umarova and attracting a diverse audience, researchers, and students, all eager to explore the challenges and opportunities for regional integration in Central Asia. 

Ms. Umarova’s speech provided a comprehensive analysis of the region’s integration dynamics, focusing on critical issues such as the interplay of political systems, economic disparities, and infrastructural connectivity. Highlighting the impact of external powers, she emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration among Central Asian countries to navigate global power dynamics effectively.
