IAIS Holds Consultative Meeting with World Bank Representatives to Launch Institutional Modernisation Project

The Institute for Advanced International Studies (IAIS) hosted a meeting on its Institutional Modernisation Project, which is being financed by the World Bank and aims to enhance Institute’s operational capacities, modernise its facilities, and foster greater knowledge-sharing and research development in international studies. The meeting brought together the IAIS project team, led by Deputy Director Shakhboz Akhmedov, and representatives of the World Bank, including Project Manager Farrukh Aminov, accompanied by colleagues Rushana Musaeva and Nurullakhon Narzullaev. This consultation served as a foundational step towards initiating the implementation phase of the project.

 

During the discussions, the parties explored key strategic areas, outlined the project’s objectives, and established preliminary frameworks for its successful execution. The IAIS team presented its vision for institutional modernisation, underscoring the critical role the project will play in enhancing the Institute’s capabilities to meet evolving academic and policy challenges.
