The Institute for Advanced International Studies participated in an online brainstorming session held with the Atlantic Council and a number of Central Asian think tanks, focused on identifying practical venues for strengthening U.S.–Central Asia cooperation.
During the exchange, participants discussed how expert communities can better support policy-relevant analysis on shared security and development challenges, including through more regular analytical coordination.
IAIS highlighted the importance of sustaining an inclusive, region-wide track of expert dialogue that can generate actionable ideas and support evidence-based cooperation. Participants noted that the brainstorming format can serve as a platform for refining joint initiatives, strengthening networks among analytical centres, and continuing consultations in the coming months.
