Central Asia as an Emerging Subsystem of International Relations

Experts from the Institute for Advanced International Studies at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy have co-authored a collective monograph entitled “Central Asia as an Emerging Subsystem of International Relations”.

The collective monograph, published by the Moscow-based Aspect Press, is devoted to the study of the Central Asian region on the basis of a comprehensive and systematic study of a wide range of sources and literature. The work is based on the results of the International Scientific Conference organised and conducted by the Department of Theory and History of International Relations of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (PFUR) named after Patrice Lumumba together with the Institute of Post-Soviet and Interregional Studies of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) on 16 December 2022 with the participation of leading scholars and experts from the CIS countries. 

The co-authors of the monograph on behalf of Uzbekistan are the Head of the Centre for Economic Diplomacy of the Institute of Advanced International Studies at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences Ibragim Mavlanov and research fellow Numonjon Malikov.

The monograph will be of interest to specialists in international relations and foreign policy of Central Asian countries, experts on regional issues.
