Tashkent, Uzbekistan – May 10, 2024 – A meeting between the leadership of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center for Energy Diplomacy and Geopolitics, and the regional leadership of AcwaPower was held in the building of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation in various fields of energy were discussed.
As a result of the constructive dialogue, the parties agreed to establish cooperation in the following key areas:
- Research and Analytical Work: The parties agreed to collaborate on scientific and analytical projects that will contribute to the development of the energy sector and strengthen energy security in the region. The plan includes the creation of research teams and the exchange of expert opinions to achieve common goals.
- Organization of Joint Events: As part of the cooperation, it is planned to hold conferences, seminars, and round tables dedicated to current issues in energy and geopolitics. These events will facilitate the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and best practices among representatives from various sectors.
- Educational Sphere: Special attention will be given to the development of educational programs and initiatives aimed at training specialists in the fields of energy and geopolitics. Plans include organizing internships, training courses, and workshops for students and young professionals.
The meeting participants expressed confidence that this cooperation will be an important step towards the development of a sustainable and innovative energy infrastructure in Uzbekistan and the region as a whole.
