Young Researchers Tackle Modern Regional Trends

On April 30th of this year, the Institute for Advanced International Studies, along with active students from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, held a scientific-practical conference for young researchers on the topic “Modern trends across the regions”.

The conference was attended by the Vice-Rector for science and innovation affairs of the UWED, G.Ismailova, the Deputy director of the IAIS, A.Umarov, doctoral students, master’s students and undergraduate students, as well as guests from the University of journalism and mass communications, Tashkent state university of oriental studies and Webster university.

Discussions were held at the conference on the connectivity of the regions of Central and South Asia, the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, processes in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the situation in American and Eurasian macro-regions.

The second part of the conference featured the “Young Researchers Summit”. At the summit, students from the faculties of international law, international economics and management and international relations presented their reports on current issues within their fields.

As a result of the conference, the “Best Speaker” nomination was determined by voting and the winners were awarded with memorable gifts.

Additionally, it was announced that a collection of scientific theses based on the conference proceedings would be published.
