Mechanism of Foreign Policy Decision-Making in The United States of America

In her new article, Shakhzoda Jumaniyazova, a researcher at the Centre for American Studies, explores the mechanism of foreign policy decision-making in the United States. She identifies key agencies involved in this process, such as the National Security Council, the Department of Defence (Pentagon), Congress and others. It also highlights the role of think tanks as an influence on decision-makers through analytical work and research on international relations.
