IAIS continues its series of practice-oriented classes on strategic communications. On September 27, the second day of training from Alpha Education, led by trainer Regina Lebedeva, was devoted to developing a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) as a key element of IAIS’s positioning.
On the second day, participants focused on how to transform the Institute's research expertise and educational services into clear, measurable, and compelling value propositions for target audiences, ranging from the academic community and international partners to donors and the private sector. The sessions were structured sequentially, from the “USP platform” to short and memorable formulations for different areas and audiences.
The key focus of the day was to align IAIS’s mission and values with stakeholder demands. The teams identified the Institute’s competitive advantages and translated them into specific benefits for partners: reliable analytical products, expert support for reforms and development programs, platforms for dialogue, and the formation of competencies for a new generation of researchers and practitioners.
The training is being implemented as part of the institutional modernization plan “Building Institutional Capacity for a Sustainable Future: A Path to Competitiveness in Central Asia and Beyond”, supported by a PRIM grant as part of the World Bank’s “Modernizing Uzbekistan's National Innovation System (MUNIS)” project.
