On January 26, 2024, the Institute for Advanced International Studies at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a distinguished scientific and methodological round table centered around the pivotal theme, "The Outcomes of the Demographic Development Forecast for the Republic of Uzbekistan and its Regions up to 2050."

The event featured presentations by eminent speakers, including D.K. Akhmedov, a Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Head of the Center for Economic Diplomacy at the Institute for Advanced International Studies. Dr. Akhmedov also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Budget and Economic Reforms. Additionally, the round table welcomed the insights of Dr. Tomas Kucera, an international expert from the UNFPA, Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), holding the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Demography and Geodemography. B.B. Alimukhamedov, the Project Manager at the Institute of Labor Market Research under the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment of the Republic of Uzbekistan, further enriched the discussions with his expertise.
