On May 23, 2024, an international conference on "Defining Paths for Regional Security and Integration within the SCO" was organized at the Institute for Advanced International Studies at UWED. The event brought together experts and stakeholders from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, India, France, and Kyrgyzstan to discuss pressing issues of regional security and integration within the SCO.

During the conference, expert circles from SCO member states discussed pertinent topics, including the current state and prospects of SCO development in areas such as security, economy, transportation, and logistics. 

The participants highlighted the significance of conducting such discussions among experts from different countries during a period of global transformations, particularly when the SCO is undergoing changes that require the formulation of specific solutions to overcome emerging challenges and issues. In turn, international participants expressed gratitude for organizing this scientific event and expressed their interest in ongoing exchanges of opinions. This conference served as a unique platform for discussing the current issues and prospects of SCO development. 

At the end of the event, invited expert N. Das Kundo expressed gratitude for organizing the scientific gathering and emphasized the importance of continuous dialogue and collaboration among SCO countries. She called upon the participants to submit their papers detailing the conference's outcomes and discussions for further publication.
