On 5 February the Institute for Advanced International Studies hosted a working meeting with David Pert, political counsellor of the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Tashkent. The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Odil Gafarov and Research Fellows Mushtariy Usmonova and Aziza Mukhammedova.

The discussion focused on the current state of expert dialogue and cooperation, as well as potential areas for further collaboration in fields of mutual interest. Participants highlighted the importance of strengthening analytical exchange and maintaining professional engagement on issues relevant to regional developments.

The sides also reviewed opportunities for future joint initiatives, including research cooperation, academic interaction, and expert-level exchanges. The meeting concluded with a shared readiness to continue constructive partnership and deepen institutional cooperation.
