IAIS is delighted to host the next session of Frontier Talks series, which brings together leading scholars and practitioners to address urgent global and regional issues.
This workshop will feature Professor Kenneth Holland, Fulbright Visiting Scholar at IAIS and renowned expert on U.S. foreign policy and international relations. Prof. Holland has an extensive academic background in American foreign policy, political science, and international law, and has held senior academic positions in several universities and research institutions across the United States and abroad.
In his lecture, entitled “U.S. Policy toward Central Asia in an Age of Great Power Competition”, Professor Holland will explore the evolving strategy of the United States toward Central Asia in the context of intensifying geopolitical rivalry among major powers. He will analyze how Washington balances its engagement in the region against the growing influence of Russia, China, and other global actors, and assess the impact of these dynamics on the security, stability, and economic development of Central Asian states. Special attention will be given to the prospects of multi-vector diplomacy, the future of U.S.–Central Asia relations, and the broader implications for the international order.
IAIS welcomes all interested parties to this event.
