Frontier Talks. Social Stratification and Well-being in Uzbekistan

The Institute for Advanced International Studies (IAIS) is starting 2025 off with a new engaging session of the Frontier Talks platform, reaffirming its dedication to fostering intellectual discourse.

 

This thought-provoking event on “Social Stratification and Social Well-being of the Population of Uzbekistan: Risks and Challenges” will feature Marat Khadjimuxamedov, First Deputy Director of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr”. As a distinguished expert in sociological research, Mr. Khadjimuxamedov will share his insights on the pressing issues of social inequality, public sentiment, and the challenges associated with ensuring equitable well-being across diverse social strata in Uzbekistan.

 

The seminar will delve into key topics, including:

  • An analysis of current trends in social stratification within Uzbekistan;
  • The implications of these trends for social cohesion and development;
  • Strategies to mitigate risks and enhance the population’s overall well-being.
