Research Fellow
Sardorbek Murtozaev is a supporting teacher at the International Economics Department of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and teaches seminars on international economics, macroeconomics, microeconomics and economic theory. His main areas of research interest are foreign investment, particularly foreign direct investment and its impact on economic development, the investment attractiveness of a country, and the role of official institutions in economic development. He is currently conducting doctoral research on the role of public institutions in attracting foreign direct investment in the Uzbek economy.
Previously, Sardorbek Murtozaev worked as a leading specialist in the Agency for Work with Makhallabay and Entrepreneurship Development under the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In 2020, Sardorbek Murtozaev graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with a Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations and World Economy, and in 2021 he completed a Master’s degree in International Economics and Management. Since 2022, he has been a doctoral student (PhD) in the specialty “World Economy” at UWED.
