On July 4, 2024, the web portal of the official news agency of the Government of the People's Republic of China published an interview with Dr. Azamat Seitov, Head of the Centre for Anthropology and Conflict Studies of the Institute for Advanced International Studies.
In his interview, the expert spoke about the significance of the Summit of the Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) held in Astana. He stressed that the SCO is adapting its activities to new challenges, such as cyber security and climate change, which makes the organisation an important player in the international arena, actively influencing global security and stability.
