The thorny path to Nakhichevan. Why is this road important for Central Asia?

At the end of the second Karabakh war in 2020, Azerbaijan set out to restore direct transport links with its exclave on the territory of Armenia - the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic (NAR). Thus, the issue of activating the Zangezur (Nakhichevan or Syunik) corridor with its connection to the international transport network arose on the agenda.
