Biography

an analyst at the non-state scientific institution “Bilim karvoni”.

Research activities are focused on studying the problems of Central Asia, trends in regional integration and the influence of big powers on this process. Author of scientific and analytical works on topical issues of the regional agenda.

Also explores the current policy of Uzbekistan on the creation and development of international transport corridors.
In 2021, N.Umarova implemented her own research project within the framework of the USAID “Social Innovation in Central Asia” Program. In 2023, conducted a joint scientific research on the topic “The Beijing – Moscow tandem in ensuring the security of Central Asia as a common challenge for regional countries”.

N.Umarova is a member of the Discussion Club NGRI “Bilim karvoni”. Participant of the PIR-Center International School on Global Security (Russia, 2022), the EU project “WECOOP” on renewable energy (Netherlands, 2022), Mediation International School (Russia 2019, 2020), the School on Central Asia of the Gorchakov Foundation (Tajikistan, 2019) and other scientific and educational projects.
