Botirjon Muhammadibrokhimov is an aspiring researcher focusing on sustainability studies and social sciences. He graduated from the University of Tsukuba with a Master of Arts in International Public Policy, where he studied as a Nippon Foundation NipCA fellow. Previously, he earned his bachelor’s degree in international Economic Relations from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED).

In 2023-2024, he interned at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2024 Central Bank Scholarship). He also completed Nippon Foundation’s Japan Internship program, and interned in Andijan’s and Tashkent’s district administrations during his BA studies.

His research interests centre on interdisciplinary social studies, sustainability discourse, and international economic relations.
