Research Assistant
Dovud Usmonov is a senior undergraduate student at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, majoring in International Relations. He works as an International Project Manager at the "Ziyo Forum" Foundation for the Development of Science and Education. He successfully completed internships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad, Pakistan. He studied at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies under the JASSO scholarship programme of Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, deepening his knowledge of Japanese culture and politics. He is also a recipient of the JACAFA scholarship programme of the Nippon Foundation. At present, he is undertaking an internship at the Center for American Studies at the Institute for Advanced International Studies, where he researches U.S. relations with the countries of East and South Asia.
