Aziza Mukhammedova is a Leading Research Fellow of the Center for Afghanistan and South Asian Studies at the Institute for Advanced International Studies (IAIS), University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), Tashkent, Uzbekistan. She studied international relations and law at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Master's degree in Political Science from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
She completed an internship in the Department of Cooperation with Iran and Afghanistan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and specializes in the study of Afghan issues.
