Ibragim Radjabovich Mavlanov - professor, doctor of economic sciences, professor of the "International Finance and Investment" department, University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Uzbekistan. In 2005-2015, he was the head of the "Applied Diplomacy" department, in 2015-2018 he was the head of the "International Trade and Investments" department of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. In 1992-2005: Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Head of the Diplomatic Mission of Uzbekistan in Latvia, Chief Advisor on Interstate Relations of the Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India and Bangladesh, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Until 1992, he worked in the scientific and practical field of information technologies and mathematical methods in economy, development of automated control systems. He conducted research and lectures at universities in Germany (Universität Gießen), Japan (Waseda University), India (Research and Information Systems Center), Russia (MGIMO, RUDN and Diplomatic Academy). Winner of international scientific grants: German Academic Exchange Service, Japan Foundation, Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Program, UN in Uzbekistan, as well as republican scientific grants of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. He is the author of more than 20 books (monographs, textbooks, manuals) published in Uzbekistan and abroad, and more than 200 scientific articles in the field of international economic relations, world economy, economic diplomacy, foreign policy, and economic-mathematical methods.
