Research Fellow
Odilbek Manabov is a Research Fellow at the Center for Sustainable Development at the Institute for Advanced International Studies (IAIS). His research interests include Sustainable Development, Economic Growth, International Relations, Water Diplomacy, Water Resource Management. His work also encompasses the intersections of such interdisciplinary fields as Education, Linguistics and Middle Eastern Politics.
Prior to his current role, Manabov gained valuable experience as a research intern at the IAIS Center for American Studies, where he focused on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, with particular attention to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Earlier, he contributed to academic development as a methodologist in the Department of International Cooperation at Tashkent State University of Economics SB.
Manabov holds a Master's degree in International Relations and World Politics from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. He is fluent in English, Russian and Uzbek, with intermediate proficiency in German and elementary knowledge of Tajik. He was granted the Albukhary Foundation International Scholarship, Malaysia.
