Public Research Institutes Modernization (PRIM) project

The Institute for Advanced International Studies (IAIS) is honored to participate in the Public Research Institutes Modernization (PRIM) project, a component of the World Bank-supported Modernizing Uzbekistan National Innovation System (MUNIS) Project. IAIS was fortunate to be selected among the top 25 finalists for PRIM funding out of numerous applicants nationwide.

 

The project aims to enhance institutional capabilities through several key areas:

  1. Research Infrastructure – upgrading tools and systems to enhance scientific capabilities.
  2. Capacity Building – training staff in research, communication, strategic outreach, project management, and resource mobilization.
  3. Strategic Planning & Governance – establishing effective management practices and strategies.
  4. Knowledge Exchange – facilitating collaboration with academic and industrial partners.
  5. Community Outreach – strengthening public engagement and visibility.

 

This initiative aspires to contribute to IAIS’s development as a notable research institution in the region, fostering partnerships and contributing to sustainable development in Central Asia and beyond.
